Introduction

01

Migraines are a debilitating disease that affects an estimated 12% of the population. 2.5% of those who suffer from episodic migraines will eventually evolve to having chronic migraines. It is considered to be the second most debilitating condition worldwide.

02

Exploratory Data Analysis

Take a look at 4 different migraine databases for initial analysis and insights into this debilitating condition.

Clustering

03

Investigates using K-Means and Hierarchical Clustering to analyze the relationship of BMI versus Age of migraine sufferers.

04

Principal Component Analysis

Using Principal Component Analysis, draw conclusions on symptom relationships of migraine patients.

pca visualization

Using a decision tree analysis to investigate the relationship of BMI versus age at chronic diagnosis and duration of chronic status

06

Naive Bayes

Take a look at predicting brain pulse based on vision loss location.

Support Vector Machines

07

Using SVM to predict if vertigo can be assumed based on symptoms of chronic migraine patients.

08

Regression

Simple regression of age of first headache compared to the duration of care in years.

linear regression visualization

Using a neural network to predict if a person will vomit based on migraine symptoms present.
